Maggie is a holistic functional nutrition health coach with a passion for motivating others to achieve wellness through balanced living. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Nutrition from the University of Arizona, and is a certified Holistic Functional Nutrition Coach. A lifelong athlete - one of her favorite sports was training for the sport of Triathlon in College. While attending the University of Arizona she competed as a member of the Triathlon team, participating in the U.S. Collegiate Triathlon Championships.
Some of her professional experience includes serving as Director for Partners for Strong Communities and as a co-founder of Mission Water, a series of
faith-based initiatives addressing humanitarian challenges. Working with local and international partner organizations, she spearheaded projects focused on poverty relief, clean water access, nutrition, and counseling. She believes in the powerful habit of eating fresh picked vegetables and fruits. One of her most meaningful projects included launching a Christian Community Garden to provide fresh, nutritious food to underserved communities. This initiative garnered recognition from Cardinal Peter Turkson, President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace under Pope Francis.
Before her work in faith-based initiatives, Maggie held executive leadership roles in the Functional Foods manufacturing industry, specializing in Sports Nutrition. For eight years, she co-founded a company that worked with endurance and Olympic athletes, developing and marketing performance-focused nutrition products.
Throughout her life, Maggie’s greatest fulfillment has come from being a Mom and as a servant leader in the communities where she has lived.
She is profoundly grateful for the gift of her Christian roots, her relationship with Jesus Christ, and her family, all of which are her greatest joy and her inspiration.
